Staff Spotlight: Marsha Cox

Meet Marsha Cox, AEDC’s Administrative Assistant. Get to know why Marsha chose AEDC, what her favorite part of the job is and what she’s up to when not having to make sure the entire office is running smoothly!

How long have you been at AEDC?

I have been with AEDC since 2008.

 

What is your role at AEDC and what does the job entail?

I am the Administrative Assistant. To maintain the front office, provide administrative support to the staff, assist visitors, customers, mail carriers, deliveries, sales representatives, truck drivers, clients of the building, etc.

 

What is your favorite part about your job?

Helping people. Whether it’s answering phone calls or assisting someone in person.

 

What made you want to work for AEDC?

The overall mission of AEDC. And room for growth. I also provide notary services and bookkeeping duties. And volunteering to become forklift certified from 2021 ending in 2024 was a good experience.

 

What do you like to do when you are not at work?

I like to go out to eat, go skating, go to the movies, the gym, shopping, etc.

 

What is the best piece of advice someone has given you?

Just be you!!!
